Summer League

Solid State Hockey Spring and Summer Teams - name Solid State Lasers HC, are entererd annually in the NESC summer league based out of the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, MA. Our clubs practice and play once a week for about 12-13 weeks all spring/summer. Teams are typically formed from local high and middle school players throughout central Massachusetts. Only CURRENT high/prep school students can register. Meaning either you are going into 9th grade for the UPCOMING school team or are a CURRENT high school student. This is a casual yet competitive environment indicative of traditional summer hockey. Teams and openings listed to the right!

The goals for our summer teams are to expose players to better competition preparing them for the High/Prep/Middle school upcoming season. Players will be coached by current/former NCAA coaches who expect the correct attitude and effort!

Only Full team members are guaranteed to play every game! Full team members have access to all practices, all off ice offerings, as well as a jersey.

We get it! Its summer! Its hard to commit! Hence our alternate team member option! Alternate team members have access to MOST of our ice offerings, as well as a jersey. Alternates are welcome to every practice. Alternate members are NOT guaranteed game time and will only be rostered when a full time member will be absent for a game.
