League Mission Statement
The Solid State Summer Prep League (SSPL) is to provide a premier competitive platform for U19 hockey players in Central Massachusetts, specifically for players born between 2006 and 2009. Our goal is to foster the growth and development of elite players while exposing them to some of the region’s top coaches and scouts. Through this experience, players will gain invaluable insights, helping them navigate the next steps in their hockey journey.
The SSPL emphasizes not only skill development but also leadership, teamwork, and athletic discipline. We are committed to promoting core values such as fitness, strength, nutrition, and mental toughness, preparing athletes for success both on and off the ice.
LEAGUE SCHEDULE
Format
- 1 Strength, 1 Practice, 1 Game a week
- 4 v 4 Game Play (Teams of 8)
- Playoffs and Tournament Championship
